I personally wouldn't use a middle that contains an "l" so I didn't vote.

Mel runs into middle names beginning with a vowel (Adelyn & Elise) and doesn't sound good with middles containing l's (Lillian). I'm curious about what you find appealing about the name Mel?

Would you consider Melody or Melanie? It would give her the option if she wanted a feminine name. It also seems more complete.
Mel Adelyn works best with the l at the end.
