Jade Stephanie vs. Jane Stephanie
We have decided to use Stephanie as a middle name to honour my late Dad who's name was Stephen. We love the names Jade and Jane but can't pick which we like best. We don't want Stephanie as a first name. I'm leaning towards Jane but hubby prefers Jade. Which should we choose? Thanks 😊

Jane is sweet, soft, short and simple. A lovely, no frills option. Jade is more modern and I find it harsher in sound. I'm Team Mom!😀
I do like Jane over Jade even tho both names are nice. I like the prettiest and simple softness of Jane. I'm sure I can get Dad to be team Mum too lol.

Id love Stephanie Jane/jade over it being her first name. I go by my middle name as does my father so it's not that uncommon. I just like the flow of Stephanie Jane better but it's a beautiful name irregardless and congrats!

Hmm, I can see it both ways. Jade Stephanie might sound a little better in that it is more of a contrast instead of Jane repeating the N in Stephanie. But I find Jane sweeter and it has a nice meaning (God's gracious gift) whereas Jade makes me think of the word jaded.

I prefer Jane to Jade myself but I agree about no "n" repetition with Jade.
Jane is cuter as a first name and Jade is cuter for a middle name

Jade, in the other hand, seems to be getting rather popular...
