Baby Name Poll Results

Amaya Jasmine vs. Amara Jasmine vs. Alana Jasmine
Sister for Kingston Bentley. We love Kaia and Kira but are second guessing having two K names. Have also been considering Sienna, Amira and Zuri. Camille, Jocelyn, and Simone are ones I love but not sure if they sound okay with Kingston? I'm second guessing everything! Suggestions are welcome, especially combos with Kaia as a middle name (middle doesn't need to be Jasmine it just works with most of our choices). Thanks!
The Top Baby Name is...
Amaya Jasmine
Amara Jasmine
Alana Jasmine

These are the ones I think sound best with Kingston.
Kingston & Amaya
Kingston & Jocelyn
Kingston & Amara
Kingston & Sienna
Kingston & Zuri
But I think the others are fine if you like them better.

Camille Jasmine and Simone Jasmine are my favorite. They go really nicely with Kingston as well.
I think two "K" initials are all right as long as you make sure to avoid "K" names with any future kids. I love Kira Jasmine, but Camille and Simone look a little more complete next to Kingston.

I'm of the belief that if you love a name, you should use it. My sister and I share the same first initial, and, I assure you, it's not a big deal. It's not even a small deal.
For some reason Camille and Simone felt too… serious? with Kingston? I'm not sure if that makes sense! But I do tend to overthink…
I'm also pretty sure this will be our last child as far as the matching initials issue goes. I would definitely NOT continue it if we had a third child no matter what.
Thank you all so much for your comments!

I like Alana and Amara on your poll. Sienna, Camille and Simone are lovely options too. Don't worry about whether names are more "serious" than Kingston. Many couples have different styles for boys and girls so you won't be alone.
If you want a more laid back or casual choice, Zuri Jasmine may be the name for you.
You have to choose which "vibe" you want. You have to love a name because you'll be saying it a lot. Pick the name that "speaks" to you. The name that you would want for yourself. The name your daughter would be proud to carry. Good luck.

@genevieve thank you that's very reassuring! Part of the problem is I was SURE if I had a girl she would be Jasmine (or Melody!) but it just doesn't feel like her name, so back to the drawing board!
Kaia and Kira are leftover from before Kingston, and they do feel like names we'd use.
Amara is another favorite but didn't get great reactions from family and friends. They then suggested Amaya and Alana which are pretty but I'm not in love with.
Zuri is a recent find that I fell in love with, it feels cute and spunky.
My husband likes Sienna a lot (and also Camille, Samira and Zuri)
Camille, Jocelyn and Simone I've loved since I was a teenager.
So much to think about but I appreciate all the responses!!

Don't worry about reactions from family. Only you have to love it. I like Amara and Sienna the most. Don't like another K name.

Hello OP. If what you meant is that you think Camille and Simone are too serious compared to Kingston, then I don't think you have anything to worry about. I think Kingston is a stately name.
Melody Jasmine is a pretty name, but I get it if you're not sure about them.
Camille might be just a little bit less "serious" than Simone. Kingston and Camille sounds really nice together, but I think I get that Simone has a pretty different feel.

Also, on a side note which is kind of funny— Kingston has "King" in it and Camille is very similar to Queen Camilla's name.

If lovely Jasmine isn't hitting the spot, what about variants Jessamine ("-min") or Jasmina (nn Mina?) Jessamine Kaia, nn Jessa? Good luck! :0)
