Middle name vs. Samuel vs. Wdyt?
My husband and I are expecting our second son in June, his first name will be Beau. We (more so me as he's all for it) are tossing around the idea of using Samuel as his middle name as I'm Samantha but go by Sam and our first son, Finn has my husbands first name, Jameson as his middle name. We are done having kids so we wouldn't "save" Samantha for a girl middle name.

I do think Samuel Beau flows better. Maybe with a nickname other than Sam. Beau sounds ok as a sound, I guess, but I've always found it so weird to call another human Beautiful or Honey or Love. You know?

If you honored your husband with your first son's middle name, it's only fair to honor yourself with the second son's middle name. Mom should get the same recognition so I think it's a great idea.
