Are Ottoline & Albertine too alike vs. Yes vs. No

Are Ottoline (otto-leen) and Albertine (alber-teen) too alike for sisters? Ottoline mostly goes by Ottie and Albertine would most likely also get a nickname if we go with Albertine.

Yes, they're too alike for sisters for my comfort level. I would avoid another name ending in "ine".

Yes, they sound a bit alike because of leen/teen but their origins are different. Also, I think it depends upon what you decide to call Albertine. Ottie & Tina, for example, do not sound too alike. But Ottie & Bertie do, imo. No vote.

No*, they are not too alike. As long as at least one goes by a nn there's no problem that I can see. Each name is absolutely darling. I hope you get to use them both. Good luck! :0)

I do think the full names are quite close, but Ottie and Albie/Alba are cute together for nicknames!
