Thoughts vs. on Lenore?

I'm thinking about the name Lenore for a baby girl, as either a first or middle name, but I want to know if it sounds too melodramatic or broody? Will everyone immediately think of the Edgar Allan Poe poem, and will that be a bad thing? Personally I really love it (and the poem) but would that be bad for a child? Thanks a lot!

I think it would be good as a middle name!

I think Lenore is lovely! My first thought was not of the poem but of how rare it is. I think it would be refreshing on a little one, whether first or middle.

Lenore is a main character in the new Hunger Games prequel- amazing name but it's probably going to be a lot more popular because of that. How about Eleanor or Leonore instead?

Lenore is very elegant and chic. I don't find it gloomy at all. Love it. Good luck! :0)

I prefer Leonora as a first name and Lenore as a middle name.
