Alicia (ah-leasha) vs. or (ah-liss-ee-ah)

Just wondering which of these two pronunciations people prefer. I like both of them. Where we live both pronunciations are used and considered fairly standard, I'd even say they are equally as common as each other.

I think both are nice but I voted for the first option because the two Alicia's I know use that pronunciation.

I agree with them ^ for the sake of your daughter not having to constantly correct the pronunciation of her name do Alicia as ah-leasha and Elysia if you like the other pronunciation.

I prefer uh-liss-ee-uh, BUT everyone I know in real life with this name pronounces is uh-leesh-uh, so despite my preference my default pronunciation is uh-leesh-uh
