Eli vs. Zeb vs. Zev
Hi, we like Christian/biblical names with a modern twist. In my country last year there were 150+ Eli born but I still love the name. We do know a child at our church called Eli. We also really like Zev but when I told my mum she misheard it as Zeb and now that has taken second place! Middle name likely to be Micah. It doesn't look like anyone in my country has been called Zeb or Zev EVER! So wonder if it's too unique? Thanks, Emily

Zebulun / Zebulon, nn Zeb, would gmv. Zeb is darling, but needs something fuller.

^Jeroboam is a cool name but a terrible namesake. All of the evil kings of Israel after him are described as "walking in the ways of Jeroboam." I'd opt for the noble Boaz instead. I do agree that Zeb sounds more like a nickname for Zebulun than a standalone name. I think Zev could stand on its own more easily. And of course Eli can, but I've never really liked it. So, as it stands my vote goes to Zev, but Zebulun would be really cool.
