Middle Names vs. for vs. Daughter River

I know many people prefer River for a boy, but I love it regardless and always planned to use it for either gender, now we're having a girl and I'm happy because it's much less common for girls. Thanks for any help!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but River is nearly just a popular among girls as it is for boys. Nonetheless, if you use it, I'd pair it with an undoubtedly feminine, non-word middle, preferably with a name that lacks an "r" and/or a "v".
