Use it! vs. Ditch it

We are please looking for some feedback around the name Bridgette. We are thinking of ditching it as a name idea as we only like the 'ette' spelling and we are concerned that it is too complicated. What do you think? Cheers!

Ditch it, sorry. The spelling is what is throwing me off.

As a super picky name nerd I can't help it.
Bridget is English, Brigitte is French / German. Bridgette just looks like a little bridge. Now, most normal people thankfully aren't picky name nerds. Are there any other names you'd like me to ruin for you? :0P Good luck!

The Bridgette spelling looks overdone to me. You can always use it as a middle name.
