Yael vs. for a non-Jewish vs. girl?

I absolutely love the name Yael and have adored it for nearly a decade, however, I am not of Jewish faith, but rather Orthodox Christian. Would it be strange to use this name for my daughter?

Upon meeting her most people will probably assume she's Jewish. I'm Jewish and haven't met a Yael who wasn't, but it wouldn't be culturally insensitive or anything.

I like the name, and especially the story in the Scriptures where she deceives and defeats an enemy military commander- with a tent peg! My kind of girl! I say go for it.

Yael is considered a gender neutral name and it's not only found in Israel and Jewish communities in the US but also in the Switzerland and France. It may be popular in Switzerland because it means "ibex or mountain goat", an animal which is honoured in Swiss Alpine culture. I think it's usable for a non-Jewish person.

I know a young woman named Yael who is Christian not Jewish. I think it's totally fine to use it.
