Anastasia is not a favourite name of mine due to the tragic Russian Grand Duchess. I just wouldn't want to be reminded of a life cut short every time I called my daughter's name. That's just my personal preference.

However, I don't think it's a bad name. It has a great meaning and I like Annie as a nickname. If you love it, I would encourage you to use it.

While it's not a favorite of mine, I think it's a beautiful name with a lovely meaning. It's recognizable (in many languages) but never has been overly popular in the US. It's vintage and deserves some sunshine! I voted "yes".

I like it. My niece's name is Anastasia and she goes by Anna, but Annie works too and it's really cute.

I like Annie. Personally, I think Anastasia is a bit ostentatious, but that's just personal preference. I'd prefer something like Anneliese. There's nothing really terrible about Anastasia.
