Not really a fan of Gregory/Greg. Although it probably does sound better with your surname.

What about a name honoring Edward? I don't think Edward Mustard sounds great.

Gregory sounds better with the last name, but I still wouldn't stick Edward as the middle spot.

You are right. Gregory Mustard looks and sounds better than Edward Mustard. If you need to use it, I would put it in the middle spot. We hardly use our middle names in real life. He could go by Gregory E. Mustard. Here are some suggestions for your consideration.
