I've got to be honest, I'm not a fan. I think of Annie Oakley. So, to me, it's a surname and I tend to not like surnames as first names, especially on girls.
I like it more for a boy. I think that the prefix oak is masculine like a big strong Oak tree.

Not a fan, sorry. I worry that trendy names like Oakley won't age well. Plus it has a very harsh sound. I get the association with Annie Oakley is a good one. I just think there are better names out there. Just my two cents. Good luck! :0)
I dislike surnames as names, just like @Namehog. Oakley is not good imo. I also heard it's super popular in the US. I am in Canada and haven't heard it before yet on a real child, but you may wanna take that into consideration.

I don't really like it. If you're going to use something like it, Oaklyn/Oaklynn is better.

Oakley is my niece's name. She is now an adult and it suits her just fine and she likes it. So I say go for it.
