Baby Name Poll Results

Yes vs. Or vs. No
I love the nickname Kit but I can't use any of the "christ-" names like Christine as my friend is wanting to use that name for her firstborn daughter after her deceased mother. I am not a fan of the "cath-" names either. Would it be too big a stretch to use Kit as a nickname for Felicity?

Yeah, I'm on the same wavelength as jupiter_sparkles… I don't see the connection between Kit and Felicity so I think it's too big a stretch.
I would just use Kit as a nickname. You don't have to have a connection. But I like the suggestion Karina.

Do you like Kinneret? (also spelled Kineret)
I also think of Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson. I don't know the history of the name Ketanji but think Kit could work as a nickname.

If you want to give the nn Kit to a Felicity, then do so. Nicknames are sometimes not associated with the full name. The only letter of Kit missing in Felicity is a "K" but it does have a "c". Use what you love.
Like Felicity, dislike Kit

I think it's fine as long as you love both names. With the said, I love the suggestion above for Nikita. Karlotta could be an option or Kit without a "full" name. I've also heard people use Kit as a nickname for Beckett, though depending where you live, Beckett may be more masculine than feminine or unisex so may not be a good option for you. Another option could be to use initials. First name K and middle names I and T (e.g. Kimberly Indiana Tamsin). Or, if the only reason you aren't using K/Christine/a is because of your friend, maybe you could talk to her and see if she'd be okay if you both used the same name since you want to use a nickname anyways.

I think Katrina would be a good name with the nickname Kit. You could also just name her Kit as a full name if you love it

Do you like Caterina/Katerina, Catrina/ Katrina or Carina/Karina? I can see Kit more so from those ones & they technically don't start with Kath/Cath or Chris/Kris.
