I don't watch any Soaps. I wouldn't name my child after my character, historical figure or celeb tbh. All my favourite names come from personal preferences.

I haven't watched daytime soap operas for decades, sorry. But if Downton Abbey counts then the names I could see myself using: Anna, Ivy, Vera, Daisy, Rosamund, Mary, Edith (Edie), Sibyl, Violet, Cora, Rose, Isobel (Bel), Mabel, Lucy, Madeleine, Freda (a family name for me, not my real name); Thomas, John, Michael (Mick), Terence (Terry), Patrick. :0)

I understand it's for fun. I answer mostly all polls even the off topic ones. That's my answer. My personal preferences always reign 😅 I love names so much I couldn't pick just any name.

^ Like jupiter_sparkles, I don't watch any Soaps. In fact, I barely even watch tv. But most names that I've heard on tv, I'd take a pass on with the exception of old films like "It's a Wonderful Life" (where I first heard my favorite name Violet).

It's been a lot of years since I watched any soaps but I do remember one female character because her name was so unique-
Greenlee
I always loved it.It's not something I'd be brave enough to actually use in real life but sometimes "guilty pleasure" names can be fun to think about.
