Mira Belle vs. Mirabelle
I was wondering whether to name her 'Mirabelle' as a first name or go for Mira (first name) and Belle (middle name) and then just use both her first and middle together everyday. I also considered a hyphen with Mira-Belle but my husband says they mess up a lot of official documents and look tacky so I guess that is not an option for us.

If Mirabelle is what you plan on calling her anyways, spelling it this way will definitely be the least hassle (and is also beautiful)!!

If you want people to call her Mirabelle, then name her Mirabelle. If you want people to call her Mira and you have no other mn ideas, then use Mira as the first name and Belle as the middle name.

Mirabelle makes the most sense imo. If you don't have a middle name, give her your middle name or a female version of your husband's middle name.

I also have to agree with your hubby in regards to "tacky" hyphens (his words, not mine) and messing up official docs via the use of one.
