Baby Name Poll Results

I don't vote and move on to the next poll. I assume that the poster likes their choices and I don't know why it would matter to them that I don't. Plus, I don't see the point of being rude.

These are two separate questions;

If its a poll where none of the names are my style, I'll often skip it. Sometimes I'm particularly bored and vote on every poll, in which case I'll vote for the one i dislike least.

If its a poll where I think there's a genuine reason why one of the names shouldnt be used, I'll vote on one of the names and maybe comment on why I think one of them is an objectively problematic choice. If its a poll where I think all of them objectively shouldnt be used, I'll either avoid voting and just comment, or sometimes skip it if it looks like a troll post.

I Just skip it

Skip unless they are so bad it would seriously harm the child. Then I may comment.

Usually I won't vote and just move on. Sometimes I'll see a poll where I don't like the names tremendously but they're perfectly fine names so I'll just vote on the one I like the most. If the poll has simply ridiculous options I may voice my opinion, but I try to do it in the kindest way I can.

My view is probably closest to the second Guest.

BUT I almost always comment to elaborate as to why I voted the way I did.

I usually vote for the choice I think is the best (even if none of the names are my personal style, which happens often) then leave a comment that offers suggestions but in a nice and uncommanding way :)

I don't vote. There are many names and styles of names that I dont like, and that means that someone else probably does. Baby naming is personal and a lot of commenters make it about them instead of the poster.

Usually I vote for the best of the options even if I like none of them. But I skip polls that look like they're trying to stir up trouble.
If asked in the poll intro, I'm happy to share my opinions of the names. But I generally don't comment on names that just aren't my style if opinions aren't solicited.
