Elsa vs. read message
Not actually a poll - but want comments. I love the name Isla, I'm pretty sure I will use it. I'm trying to think of sister names to go with it. I watched the show 1883 and the main character played by Isabel May is "Elsa". I loved her character, it became one of my favorite shows because of her. Is the Frozen movie still too prominent for the name Elsa to be used? I don't want people to be like, "Oh, Elsa, like from Frozen?".. cuz no, not at all! I just really think Isla and Elsa would make adorable sister names. Please give your thoughts.

I don't have an issue with the Frozen association, but I think that the names are too similar for sisters for my taste.

I agree with the others — too close for sisters.

I think it's kind of cool to have the same letters in such different name. A connection that isn't immediately obvious.
You'll get Frozen references with the name Elsa but it's not a huge deal. A have a name that was used for the main character of a popular show when I was growing up. People would mention it and I'd agree that my name was the same as the character and that was all. It didn't really impact my life.

More matchy than I'd like myself.

Siblings already have a connection that's why they call them siblings. Names shouldn't be matchy.

I don't think Elsa would be super hard to wear; you might get occasional comments but that's not that big of a deal. However, I think Elsa and Isla are much too close for siblings. Maybe you would consider Elisabeth and use Elsa as an occasional nickname?
