I have a dear friend whose wife is called Toni so I think it's fine as a nickname but I would let use it as a standalone. No vote.

Toni feels a little outdated to me, especially as a full name. As a nickname for Antonia or Antoinette might help make this name a touch more modern

I've known a several girls/women called Toni, but I don't actually know if any of them were named Toni or it Toni was a nickname. I think as long as you spell it with an I (not Tony) it could work as a stand-alone name, much like Cori.

I'd prefer it as a nickname for Antonia, Antonina, or Antoinette. It's too masculine to be a full name on its own in my opinion.
