Personally, I don't like Madison as it reminds me of the word medicine so I wouldn't use it on either sex; however, I'm all for honoring, so if you love it, use it.

I love Madyson spelled like this for a girl. I know a man with this name who spells it Mattison. He goes by Matt.

Unfortunately I think girl first, but that doesn't make it unusable for a boy. It was originally a boy name and I much prefer it on a boy. If you love it, you should totally use it!
