Emery isn't my favorite, but it's definitely growing in popularity across the board. It makes me think of an emery board people file their nails with. I prefer it for a boy, but it works for any gender

I voted yes,I like it but I was assuming it was for a girl.
I do know a boy who's middle name is Emory (spelled like this though) but with it's similarity in sound to Emily it feels quite feminine to me.If it was for a boy I'd much prefer Emmett.

Emery also makes me think of a nail file as well. I prefer Amory myself but if you love it, then go for it.

I love Emery for a boy. Handsome. Especially as nickname for Emerson.

Also it's my son's name. He's happy and has always been the only one. Haha
