FN & MN same initial vs. Yes vs. No

I've seen a few people on this site say first and middle names or first and last names that start with the same letter don't flow, and I have to say I entirely disagree! I think most of the time it's combo dependent, but I love how it sounds like a superhero style name! What do you all think?

I voted "no" to same initials.

I find most alliterative names sound cartoonish. It all comes to personal preference.

Some people love alliteration. I prefer it with first and last name personally.

I think you're right — it is combo dependent. One size does not fit all so I think it's best to look at the combo at hand before deciding whether or not it sounds appealing.

I love when the first and last names start with the same letter. It gives them a wow factor.
Think of some celebrities-
Farrah Fawcett
Courteney Cox
Marilyn Monroe
Robert Redford
just to name a few.
Even If they weren't famous their names would be very memorable because of the alliteration.

I'm not sure why exactly but I'm not as big of a fan of first and middle names starting the same though.I think in that case the middle name needs to be very simple. For example Rebecca Rose would be pretty but Rebecca Rhiannon would be too much.

I also agree it depends on the combo. I like alliteration.
