Michael Evan vs. Evan Michael vs. Try Again

I want to name a boy Michael Evan in honor of our middle name (Michelle and Everett). I am also open to Evan Michael. Unfortunately, his dad fears people will think we named him after his boss... Michael, and would prefer something more unusual. Any suggestions?

I love Evan Michael! I like Evan as a first name a lot better than Michael as a first name. What about Evan Mitchell? I think Michael is more classy than Mitchell, but Mitchell would still be close to Michelle but different from the boss’ name. Or Evan Micah? Or Evan Miles? I really like Evan Miles! What do you think?

I LOVE Evan, and Michael works as a mn for it but I really dislike Michael as a fn, and if your husband isn’t sold I definitely wouldn’t use it. It is too overused as a fn IMO anyway. I like the other ideas of Micah, Miles and Mikhail, especially Micah. GL!!

Evan Michael is a great name! I think Evan is a thousand times better than Michael as a first name. Michael is sooooo overused and dated as a first name IMO and there is already way too many Mike’s out there! Evan is perfect :)

Y’all have some great ideas. I can’t do Micah (cousin’s name), or Miles as a first name (not good with my son’s name- Race).

He likes Ezra though, and I quite like Ezra Miles. I’ll run it by him and see what he thinks.

Also, we like Meredith Rae for a girl.
