I love James but only as is or with the nickname Jamie.I'm not a big fan of Jim or Jimmy as the nickname.
Jameson would be a really cool name too if you maybe wanted to honor a James without using their exact name.

I know a family that has all three names amongst the brothers! My favorite is Joseph.
I am not a fan of James but there are a lot of James in my family
