I've only ever seen Avery used for a girl (I've met 6). Though it is unisex.

Girl

Avery leans female but I like it for boy as well. It's one of the few gender neutral names I don't mind.

I've met one girl Avery and one boy Avery. It works either way. If you feel especially drawn to the name use it regardless of the gender!

It's better on men and boys imo.

Avery isn't "neutral". It means Alfred. Anyway, I vote boy as I would never sack a girl with this name.

I didn't vote because I like it equally for boys and girls.

Girl! Avery is too soft for a boy. I would never saddle my son with this name.

Basic research and about 1000 years of history will tell even those deep in denial that Avery is masculine. Not neutral, not feminine, a man's name 100%. Fact not opinion. It is the same name as Albrecht and Alfred, can't imagine why anyone would call a girl Alfred regardless of translation. Masculine name, full stop.

Avery is so handsome for a boy.

Soft is so ridiculously overrated.
It's a name. A man could be named Vivian and be the most masculine man in the room.

I know about 5 girls/ women named Avery and never met a male Avery. Just a thought. But I think it works either way.

That's just you

Personally I've only met boys with unisex names. I know ten boys named Avery
