I know Kennedy is often used for girls, but I find it very masculine. To me it's no different than naming a girl Carter, for example.

McKenna got my vote but I agree with the previous comment.I prefer the Makenna spelling as well.I feel like the Mc name trend has had it's day.Better yet I'd prefer just Kenna as the full name.It feels fresher.

Makena is the correct spellung for a fn which is preferable to the masculine surname.
