Jesse is a full name and with it being two syllables, I can't imagine that it's too short with your last name.

Jesse isn't short for anything as a male name. It's a biblical name and was the full name of the guy in the Bible.

I do agree with the poster who said that a two syllable first name pairs well with even the shortest last name.

The Biblical Jesse is a full name and I think it's fine on its own. Since you haven't stated your surname, we can't give our opinion about look or flow of the two names together (you could say what letter it starts with, how many letters/syllables it is, a word it rhymes with etc...if you'd rather not divulge that information).

Jesse should be fine with any length name. Jesse Ai, Jesse Bo, Jesse Brown, Jesse Clark, Jesse Dean, Jesse Forte, Jesse Good, Jesse Han, Jesse Kim, Jesse Lee, Jesse Ng, Jesse Tate, Jesse Wu (just throwing out examples of short names and I think Jesse sounds fine with all of them).

Jesse doesn't have (or need) a full name. If you are really against using Jesse as the full name, you'd need to try something creative.

Jensen nn Jesse
Jaasiel/Jasiel nn Jesse
Jefferson nn Jesse

Or maybe a Jeh sounding first name and a C middle name.
