Janet vs. Needs A Middle Name

Ever since I was a little girl, I have wanted a daughter named Janet. I keep looking at name after name, yet none feel as sweet as Janet. I love its five-lettered length, how it writes on paper, the way it rolls off the tongue, its uniqueness nowadays, and the long history it has. How do you feel about the name Janet, and what would you use as a middle name? I'm currently loving Janet Priscilla for my daughter!

It's too dated in my opinion, but there is nothing wrong with the name itself.

What about Janet Rebecca, Janet Nicole, Janet Esther, or Janet Eleanor?

It's not a favourite name of mine (I prefer Jeanette) but there's nothing wrong with it. It's obviously the name for you if you've loved for such a long time.

I don't mind Janet, though I admit I do prefer the name Janice/Janis. I was going to suggest Drusilla as a middle name, but Genevieve beat me to it! Janet Louise/Christine are also nice suggestions. Some other middle name ideas: Pauline, Evangeline, Josephine (JJ would be a super cute nickname option), Eloise, May, Maureen, Brianne, Annabelle.

Hate the name. It's outdated in a bad way, not a vintage timeless way. It's really harsh sounding name too.

I think it's a nice, pretty name and it's obvious you love it! I think you should use it; you might regret it if you don't. I love Janet Priscilla as a combo!

I think I'd pair it with something more in trend now such as Janet Olivia or Janet Sophia. Priscilla is fine though and you've always loved the name Janet then go with it.
