Lila Mary vs. Violet Mary vs. Your Suggestion(s) Mary

Hi all, NameHog here. So the BIG news is that we are no longer "team green"… it's a GIRL. Now comes the hard part. I eliminated Ada so I'm down to Lila and Violet. I'm open to suggestions. The middle name will definitely be Mary (an honor name). Big brother-to-be is Theodore.

I love Violet Mary! So sweet. It feels fresher than Lila to me. I also think that Iris Mary or Laura Mary are sweet.

I like Lila, but Lila Mary doesn't flow. Violet Mary is okay, but feels like a mouthful, and Violet is much more popular than Lila.

If you like Lila, maybe Delilah, Dahlia, Leonie, or Eliana? If you like Violet, maybe Viola?

Other Suggestions:
Tallulah Mary
Sienna Mary
Aurelia Mary
Jocelyn Mary
Isla Mary
Georgia Mary

^ Of your suggestions, I love Aurelia but our last name is three syllables. I never considered Viola. Do you think Viola Mary sounds better than Violet Mary?

I'm not the same guest as above, but I do think Viola Mary flows a little better than Violet Mary (less choppy).
I like Lila, so light and cheerful. I don't notice any issues with flow in Lila Mary.

Lila Mary got my vote! Lovely name. I do like Violet Mary too but seconding the suggestion of Viola. Congratulations NameHog!

I agree that Viola Mary flows better. I am a little confused about Aurelia being an issue at 3 syllables, but using Theodore at 3 syllables. Maybe it's because I pronounce the name au-rel-ia, but I don't think an additional syllable makes a big difference either.

Rowan Mary? Reese Mary? Emma Mary? Celeste Mary? Scarlett Mary? Frances Mary? Harper Mary? Bridgit Mary? Autumn Mary? Zephyr Mary? Bristol Mary?

Thank you, Lilac Lady!

Guest, I pronounce Aurelia as a four syllable. I've just always thought it was "too long" with our last name. Plus, does it flow with Mary?

I really like Lila. I think Lila Mary flows just fine.

I think they are both sweet names. I chose Lila, because I hear it less often than Violet. I don't think Violet is overly popular though. I'm a preschool teacher and we haven't had any students or siblings with either name.

Thank you very much Guest and 4kidmom for weighing in!

I think I will redo my poll with Viola as an option (with the other two).
