Wells doesn't appeal to me.
I would use Wellend or Rockwell, nn Welles/Wells.

Instead of Archer 🏹 how about something with a similar meaning, sound and vibe like Artemis
and instead of wells something a bit more unique but with a similar vibe that doesn't clash, a name like Quill....

Archer Wells has the better flow but Wells is such an underused name so I voted Wells Archer. Maybe Maxwell Archer or Wellington Archer with Wells as a nickname (if flow matters to you).

Wells is a plural noun, which I find odd for a person. Also, I'm much more familiar with it as a surname from my family tree (distant cousins I see sparingly). To me, Archer at least identifies an individual so it makes more sense. Even if I like the sound of Wells more.
