Rowan vs. Remington
Hi, I have decided I am definitely going with one of these two names for my daughter who is due in October. We are thinking of using either Diane or Jane as the middle name. What do you y'all think?

I'm not a fan of the two names with your surname. When I say the letters R & W aloud a number of times, I often end up talking like the cartoon character Elmer Fudd (wabbit). Say each name aloud and you may trip up and they turn into Wowan Woods & Wemington Woods.
Anyway, I do prefer the name Rowan to Remington and I like Jane too.

Remington seems very masculine and industrial. I could go for Remi Woods though.

Don't care for masculine names on girls. Like letting girls start out knowing femininity is ok. To that end Diane and Jane are terrific. Diana Jane Woods would be outstanding.

That's not a choice. And not all girls are frilly and girly. Anyhow I like Remington. Remington Diane is fine.
