I pronounce these 2 names differently.
Ariel= airy-uhl (like the Little Mermaid)
Arielle= are-ee-ell (basically like saying the letters R E L)

Ariel is the masculine form of the name.

I liked Ariel, but now that I'm seeing people saying Ariel is the masculine form of the name I'm not so sure. Either way I think Ariel(le) is a beautiful name that works well with her sisters!
