Don't actually believe this is for real, what with an uggo alliterative, but not going to enable anti-girl behavior by saying Klein is in anyway capable of being a decent girl name.

^ Who cares? I don't like Klein, but it's THEIR child, not ours. They probably live in America, which is where I live. It's not uncommon for last names to be given as first names for either gender.

Honestly shocked with the negativity received from this post. As I stated in the post I am CONSIDERING…. Kleine as a first name. Surnames being used as first names are so popular these days!!! Anyways thank you to the comments who actually suggested middle names. If I was looking for negative opinions on the name itself I would've made that clear in my post. It's a family last name and I liked the idea of using it for my daughter.

Why is kleine crazy but not clark or Taylor. Keyboard warriors need to keep opinions to themselves.

I'd just suggest something super feminine and longer with a short unisex name.

Surnames as first names is an unpleasent trend to begin with, especially on girls where they never quite fit, and opinion polls are going to engender opinions, go figure. Suggest you keep surnames in the middle if you want to use them.
