Jaime is a Spanish boy name that is pronounced "HY-may".

The Jayme spelling could be mistaken as a one syllable name instead of two syllables.

My husband spells it Jaime. He's Latin but no one (in the US) calls him HY-may. I like that it looks like j'aime (I love you in French).
