Which Name vs. From List
One of these is my favorite by a long shot but it has received a ton of negative feedback so I want to see what people think about it without me biasing anyone. Which name do you like best from the list for a baby girl, would you use a full name and make this the nickname? Any thoughts you want to share on others. The names: Josie, Jodie, Jolie, Jovie, Jorie, Janie, Judy, Julie Thanks!

My favorites are Josie and Julie. I really like Janie too, but I think you can name her Jane and call her Janie.

I think most of them are great. But Jorie I wouldn't use, potentially as a nickname for Journey maybe? But not on its own. Josie is adorable, I like the nickname, but for me I would probably choose a longer name, not Josephine though... Jodie I like this one, and I do believe it works great on its own. Jolie this one is cute, but as Josie I would myself use a longer name like Joline... I used to LOVE like absolutely Love Jovie. It was so cute, but now I sadly just think of Jovial. But you cannot go wrong with that name. Janie, I suppose it is pronounced Jane-y. I like it a lot, and I think it works as a stand alone name. I am not a fan of Judy myself but it is not a bad name, though Judith makes it a LITTLE better. But Judy isnt wrong. I like Julie. I think this one too works great on its own.

I love some of these but would still want them to have full names if it were me:
Jordana nn Jorie
Jocelyn or Josephine nn Josie
Jane nn Janie
If I had to pick one to use as is the one I think works best as a given name is Jolie.
I'd also love Julia or Juliet (but Julie doesn't feel as timeless to me as they do)

Josie - would use Josephine nn Josie
Jodie - rhymes with "grody"
Jolie - meh
Jovie - too close to "juvie"
Jorie - too close to "jury"
Janie - like especially for Jane
Judy - ehh
Julie - my favorite "as is"
Because I feel like it needs to be said lately on here, these are just my personal views on each name. Whichever one you love, you should definitely use!

I love Julie as a full name.
Others I prefer either as nicknames (Josie for Josephine & Judy for Judith) or middle names (Jolie). I don't really care for any of the remaining names.

Love Jovie! Also like Jolie.

My favorite is Julie. None are so awful you should absolutely throw it out, but I'd say Janie is my least favorite.

Judy is awful as well!
I would go with:
Jodie

Please don't use Josephine
