Whats so vs. wrong with vs. this name?!?

Hi everyone i’m Elizabeth and my husband Jacob and I are expecting our first baby a little boy and we wanted to name him Taylor Alexander but, when we told my family they were upset and said the name was too commen and trashy! I think it is a great name.....what do you guys think? He is due in June.

I don’t know how anyone could get trashy from that name! I think it’s nice name, maybe a little common, but not trashy at all!

I love Taylor for A BOY its such a great name! We have a friend name Taylor Franklin! I think thats a good name too, but Taylor Alexander is great!

I think it is cute, not trashy, but it is common! Taylor has became popular for both girls and boys, but i still think it is CUTE!

It’s hard to get everyone to agree on a name!

I think it is a great name!! If you like it then you should name him that. It is your baby, they already had their turn naming. Plus the older generation always likes their generation of names and don’t really know current names IMO.

Taylor seems to have trended toward a girls name...but I think Alexander is very handsome. What about Truman Alexander

I think it is a great, strong name! That name does not strike me as trashy at all. The worst I could say is that Taylor is becoming a unisex name, but I feel it is all BOY. Family can make this process tough. I find it is easier not to tell them until the baby is born.

They said it sounded like Trailer to much......I guess thats trashy to them but, they also hate Alexander. :(

Okay, there is nothing trashy about the name Taylor - really! It sounds nothing like trailer, they don’t know what they are talking about! I think its great!

I love the name Taylor! I think Taylor Alexander is kind of mouthful though, with the similar endings. I would go with something different.
Taylor Andrew, Taylor Gregory, etc.

Use a name that you are completely in love with, and once you decide on that name (whether it’s Taylor Alexander or a different one), don’t tell anyone what it is until your baby is born. That way, everyone will be so enamored with your son that they won’t care what his name is!
