The misspelling just makes it look...uneducated. Or trendy. I think you should just use another name or deal with Lana spelling anal backwards.

I think Lanah looks the best and makes the most sense. GL!
I actually thought the spelling of Lahna looked pretty, reminds me of a Hawaiian name.

Yeah, my husband will absolutely not choose the name without changing the spelling, and we cannot agree on anything else. The other spellings are actual names, Lanah is a legitimate hawaiian spelling, as is Launa I believe.

Maybe you should choose another name instead of settling on a spelling. You should love the sound and look of your little girl’s name! Maybe Lana could be the middle name, and then the whole "anal" thing wouldn’t matter. What other names do you like?

That’s the problem! My husband and I don’t agree on anything! He likes trendy names like Madison, Makayla, McKenzie etc. I like classic names like Isabella, Genevieve, Ella, etc.
We eventually came up with Leighton, with the nickname of Leia, that we would both settle on. But its not our favorite name the way Lana is.

I had the same problem. We couldn't decide on a name together. I liked Leona, Fiona, Evelyn, Charlene... Finally 'Lana' was chosen but the spelling isn't my favorite. I wanted to spell the name as 'Lawna' but we went with 'Lanna' and it's driving me crazy that people want to say it like Hannah :( It boils down to where you're from when it comes to pronouncing A's... Complicated!
