Dharma/Boden vs. Cordelia/Arden vs. Addison/Bailey

b/g Twins due in 3 weeks and my husband and I are still disagreeing on names I love Cordelia and Arden but he likes Addison and Bailey but I also like Dharma and boden but maybe we should go for something completely different? Would love your twin name ideas! Thanks ~Kate

I like Addison and Bailey. The only problem with the two names is I am not sure which is the girls name and which is the boys. Addison and Bailey can go either way.

Cordelia and Arden sound great together. Addison and Bailey sound like two girl names to me or Two boy names. Very confusing. Dharma and Boden are VERY out there. Go with Cordelia and Arden. Delia and Art would be cute NNs.

I think you should choose names that are definite boy, definite girl. I have no idea what Dharma and Boden are, I think of Arden, Addison, and Bailey as female names mostly. Cordelia is the only name on your list that seems like we both think of it as a girl name.

I agree. Most of your names are unisex. Dharma I recognize from TV. But I really don’t see any actual strong masculine names. How about Cordelia (Delia) and one of the following for the boy:

Arthur (Art)
Anderson (Andy)
Alexander (Alex)
Alan (Al)
Dawson
Sullivan (Sully)
Wesley (Wes)
Sawyer
Broderick (Brody)

Or if you want to have them start with the same letter:

Cordelia and Cooper
Adrienne and Adam
Brielle and Bennett
Emily and Ethan
Dharma and Dawson
Suzanne and Sawyer

Cordelia and Arden are great together. They are both underused and will age well. I agree that I would not use Addison and Bailey together as they are both unisex. Boden is also cute and underused. Adeline or Adele and Boden would be cute and spunky together and a comprimise on styles.

I looove Arden, I’ve heard it as a girls’ name before though. I like Adrian a lot too though and it sounds similar. Cordelia is great for a girl too, Addison is nice but it’s becoming very overused.
