How is it pronounced?
Is Parisa pa-REE-sa, and Parissa pa-RISS-a?
Parisa/Parissa Christine or Parisa/Parissa Evangeline would be lovely in honor of her mama or daddy.

I like it! It reminds me of Paris, only Parissa would be a name in its own right, not doubling as a city.

Parisa is an English-Greek name, the female version of Paris. It’s not persian whatever because that’s pronounced like Pa-ree-sa or something, not Parisa like Marisa.
My name is Parisa and I’m a Dublin, Ireland native. People here know it as an English-French name because it’s just Paris with an "a" stuck to it.

My name is Parisa too! I’m from Sweden. Here it’s not that common like Lisa but it’s definitely an English name. It’s just like Paris. People always associate me with Hilton and that’s annoying though.

Parisa is only English, pure 100 %. The other name you’re looking for is spelled differently, Pareesah, I think. It’s often misunderstood. I had a classmate names Parisa, just like Marisa or Paris, and she’s pure American-Irish.
