Jaidyn for a girl?? I made a poll earlier but it didn’t really help. I always though the name Jayden and any spelling that ended in ’en’ was for a boy and any spelling ending with ’yn’ or ’in’ were for a girl. Any way do you think Jaidyn is ok for a girl, she would most likely be called Jade as a nickname and if we end up going with it we do need middle name suggestions. Thanks.

Jaidyn any way you spell it is more boy to me. I don’t like it on a girl, sorry. However, I love Jade as a full name. Beautiful, strong, and much classier than Jaidyn imo. Plus there won’t be confusion over spelling.

Jaidyn sounds like a boy’s name, and it’s also really common-sounding with all of the Kaidens and Aidens running around. I work at a preschool and there are two Aidens, a Kaiden, and a Jaiden. It’s really not a name I would pick. I agree with the first comment -- while Jade is still sort of popular, it’s prettier and it’s not nearly as common as Jaiden/Jaidyn.

I’m not a fan of Jaiden any spelling but Jade is a strong enough name to use as a full name and much more feminine.

im sorry but the spelling of a name does NOT make it boy or girl....

feminine names are for girls and masculine names are for boys

When someone says the name, they won’t see how you are spelling it....Jada is cute, too.

no sorry i don’t like it, i wouldn’t use it for a boy either, it’s far too trendy and made up looking imo. i think it would be better just to call her Jade, that’s a much prettier name and you’ll know she’s a girl when hearing her name. middle names could be

Jade Alexis
Jade Caroline
Jade Sophia
Jade Charlotte

like any?
