Crandall reminds me of a cranky old man, and Borden will always make me think of dairy products, so I’m voting for Benson.

Benson! Borden reminds me of Lizzie Borden, and crandall reminds me of a cranberry. Ben is also a good nickname for Benson! Goes with a more modern or smooth sounding middle name- Benson Crandall would be just too over the top traditional in my opinion. Best of luck with your son!
