Teen Mommy-to be vs. needs help naming vs. baby.

Hi I’m Kimberly and I am becoming a teen mother on september 3rd 2009. Please don’t be rude. I am pregnant and thats that. Anyway. I don’t know the sex of the baby so I need to choose a name for both a boy and a girl. If it’s a girl I love the names Annabelle, Alyssa, Emma, Chloe, Julia, Paige and Hannah. If it’s a boy I love the names Jayden, Oliver, Ethan, Daniel, Aidan, Noah and Owen. But I am clueless when it comes to middle names. I like Grace and Matthew but other then that idk. Wdyt? Can you help me? Also since I am about to become a young mommy does anybody have any advice for me? Thank you so much for your wonderful help! ~Kimberly

First off, Congrats. Second, you definitely need to finish school. Start putting your name on day care lists, it can be awhile before you can enroll your little one and you need to finish school.

If you didn’t want people to be rude, then you shouldn’t have posted your age!!

Please don’t use Jayden for a boy. It’s too popular and for both genders. Maybe it’s just where I’m at, but every child is named Jayden and Chloe.

I opened the newspaper not too long ago and looked at the beauty pageant pictures and each age group had at least one Chloe! In one group of little girls all the girls that placed were named Chloe! Some had alternate (horrible) spellings. I couldn’t believe it.

Anyways lol...I like Owen Matthew and Alyssa.

Paige is used all the time at school, so I wouldn’t wanna do that to my kid.

Annabelle always makes me think of a cow/calf from the movie (disney movie maybe?) Annabelle’s Wish.

Have you thought Emaline? It’s a nice variation of Emma and you can use Ema as a nn.!

Guest 1: I love Chloe Grace and Chloe Elizabeth, i also love Owen Matthew and Owen Patrick. Guest 2: I am finishing High school for sure. I am already looking into day care and my best friend is going to babysit as well as the father. I am going to TRY and get into a small college and get a job even if it doesn’t pay very good. I am even working while I am 7 months pregnant.

Becoming a teen mom is not different that a new mom to be at any age. Trust your gut in everything, choose what’s best for the baby and love it with all your heart. That’s all you can offer!

I love

Ethan
Emma
Julia (my fav)

best of luck! And enjoy motherhood! For me so far it’s been amazing!

Good for you poster. I worked until a day before I had my son. Yeah, started leaking at work. Ha ha I don’t know if you are going to be a single parent or not but either way it is going to be difficult. Finish school is all I’m saying. Community colleges offer good daycares as well. so after high school you can even take the lil one and drop him/her off while you go to class. Since your a teen im guessing your not married. a lot of daycares offer financial assistance to single parents as well.

I didn’t post my age. I just said that I am a teen. Teen can be anywhere between 13-19. I just find Jayden to be a sweet name that will fit a handsome boy. I have always liked it. And Chloe just sounds adorable to me. Owen Matthew is adorable too! What middle name do you like with Alyssa? And Annabelle reminds me of a princess. Thank you for your good wishes. What middle name would go good with Alyssa and Aidan? Tora I like Emmaline (this spelling). Thats actually very cute!
Thank you for your help everyone!

I am still dating the father. I am going to put my baby first for everything. I know that everything I do from the time I am pregnant and until my child goes to college has to be about him/her. And even after that. I’m gonna be the best mommy I can be. And of course I will love him/her with all of my heart. What middle name goes best with Ethan and Julia? I don’t think I am going to work until my water breaks. But I am going back to work not long after I have the baby. I love Noah Daniel and Alyssa Chloe.
Thank you for your help everyone!
