I was wondering what ya’ll think of the name Riverlyn nn Rivie? I saw it on a previous poll and it really works for my daughter. My name is Kailyn and my niece is Rivers Brielle (yes from the movie My Dog Skip) and I always told Rivers that if I had a little girl I would use some part of her name. So what do you think?

It’s cute... but that can be a pro and a con. It’s very cute on a little girl and unique on a teen; but on an adult, it’s hard to see. Kate is great though, and it really makes the name feminine, so I think it’s a good choice.

It always amazes me the way people say a name won’t age well. All names began somewhere. Maybe 30yrs ago the thought was that Lacey, Crystal, Amber, Stephanie, etc...wouldn’t age well. Adult, professional people all have these names and are doing just fine. If you like the name then use it.
