Reed for a girl vs. Yes vs. No

I love the name Reed for my newest baby girl! She will be sister to brother Ryan Isaiah and sister Reese Lauren. I like Reed Noelle or Reed Elizabeth...what do you think? My husband thinks it is not a name that suits both genders...?

I do NOT like it on a little girl, I also think girl or boy its way to close to Reese... and to boyish to go with your son Ryan which is being used on girls a lot now (not that I like it for a girl either)

What about

Reed is not appropriate for a girl, I have to agree with your husband.

I agree with pp’s... best for a boy. Even if I thought is was appropriate for a girl, it is too close to Reese for sisters.

I think Riley would be too close to Ryan.
Rowan would be cute, but I think that would be too close to Ryan, as well.

Maybe...

Sorry but I think Reed is much too masculine for a girl.
I also agree that Reed is too close to Reese.
