Mared vs. Peggy vs. other variations???

Okay so I have to include the name Margaret as a middle name for my first daughter, it’s a very important family name, but I have it and absoloutley hate it. So i thought I’d give her a variation instead and Mared (pron. Mah-red) is a Welsh version and ALOT nicer than Marge. I also like Peggy but that doesn’t really work as a mn. So I wanna know what you think of Mared or if you have any other nice Variations of Margaret.

What about Margot (Mar-go)? It all depends on what the first name you want to use is.

I’m not sure yet as I was gonna do things backwards and get a first name to match this middle name, so if I went for Maggie I would have to have a long fn, but if i went for Makelesi it could be any length really, so I wanted to pick my favourite middle name first.
