Ella vs. Mia

Hi, my name is Maria and my husband is John and we are expecting g/g/g triplets! We have deicded to name 2 of them Molly & Mary. We want to name the last one Ella but we were think ing we didn’t want to leave Ella out because her name didn’t begin with an M. WDYT? We were also considering Mia if we didn’t use Ella. Please help!

I like Mia better than Ella. Its a tie in to the other girls and although Mia is popular, Ella is far more popular. Mia is gorgeous!

What about Mariella? Ella could still be her nn. Or Mia, for that matter. It might be too close to Maria and Mary, though.

What about Melia? Ella or Mia would still be optional nn. (By the way... it’s a Greek name.)

I think Molly and Mary are too close for multiples. Molly is a form of Mary.
But if you insist, Molly, Mary and Maggie would be my suggestion.

Go Ella if that’s what you really like. What is the deal with people thinking because the childs name isn’t the same as every other child that it will feel left out. My brother whose name starts with a K, has never complained about me and my brother starting with D? I mean who cares? The child will not be torched for some like that. If your really that concerned about it why not give her the name Ella Mae or Ella May and call her by both names? That way she’s an individual:) Did you know Molly and Mary are forms of each other well Molly is a form of Mary? sort of close if you ask me.

I like Mia much better than Maggie. Maggie is more of a nn to me.

If you chose Molly, Mary and Maya then they would all have the "M" amd the "Y" in common.
