Claire is lovely but Josephine, not so much. Johanna would be a nice alternative IMO.

The people who are voting no probably just don’t like old-fashiones or classic names, I would say they’re the Ashtyn/Leighton/Ryanne/Hadley crowd, no offense to anyone.
I personally love Josephine as well as Vivian, Eleanor, Miriam, Evelyn, Estella, Geneva, etc.
I think it just comes down to personal taste and if someone likes trendy or classic names.

Its pretty, but it sounds kind of like a grandmothers name to me. But she will be a grandma one day! Josie is a cute nickname.

See that is the stuff I think about, my name is Hannah, which I think is a classic beautiful name, I can see myself being mom Hannah, aunt Hannah and grandma Hannah, same with my beautiful daughter Josephine. So many names out there just don’t seem like actual "names" to me. Sorry, I don’t mean to be rude, but when I child grows up they still have that name. I can see Josephine being a doctor or teacher, but names on here that I see like Rivvie, and even Isabella, i can just picture on little girls.

What about Joanna Claire? Its less "grandma".
If you love Josephine Claire, then go for it! The nickname Josie is adorable.

I don’t mind "grandma" names, if thats what you wanna call them. I think so many people like these trendy popular names, that they forget what classic names are.

I like classic, old fashioned names, but I don’t like names like Eleanor, Josephine, or Georgia. They just sound kind of old-ladyish to me and aren’t as attractive to me as names like Elise, Catherine, or Charlotte. So no, I’m not a trendy baby namer haha. I wouldn’t worry about it though, people are going to have different tastes, you can’t please everyone. What matters is that you love it. It does sound pretty together, but I would prefer Claire Josephine more. GL
