Bridget vs. Bridgette vs. Brigitte

Hi, we love the name Bridget for our daughter but can’t decide on the spelling. We think Bridget is the the more common spelling but we also love the other two. Her middle name will most likely be Violaine or Elaine. Thanks, Jason and Camille.

Brigitte is often pronounced Bri-gee-ta. So I would go with Bridgette as it is softer and more feminine. A name I am condisidering!

Bridget Elaine is elegant and classy. I think her name will get spelt wrong if you go with the other two names.

without a d?? People will than pronounce it without a D! They pronounce things as they are spelt, would her name than be Brig- it? Is that what oyou are going for? I’m confused? Or was it a typo?

Bridget if you go with Violaine
Bridgette is you go with Elaine.
That way it balance uniqueness with something a little more common.

Brigitte looks like brih-zheet.
Bridgette sort of lloks like brid-jet.
If you want brid-jit, I’d go with Bridget.
