I love both! but then again I’m a sucker for old fashioned names. Flora May is the better name IMO. Some other suggestions:

April Rose
Rose Florencia
Elsa May
Edith Rose
Mara Florence
Cora May

Haha there was a person who posted on here today who had a daughter called meryl rose!
I do like both the names, it’s just that they are a bit ’old-lady’ ish in my opinion. Some other classic style names you might like-
Adele/Adeline
Elodie
Angelique/Angelie/Angelica
Anastasia
Arabella
Ardelle
Audrey/Aurora
Aveline/Evelyn
Cadence
Camilla/Camille
Carmela/Carmen
Carolina
Celine/Celina
Charlize
Charlotte
Clara/Clarissa
Clementine
Coralie
Delilah
Eden/Edie
Eleanora
Isadora/Elladora
Elaina
Elora (I like this and it’s similar to Flora)
Emilia
Esme
Evangeline
Francesca
Genevieve
Ginevra
Helena

Do you like any of these?

What are the chances! - That’ll make that one a possibility then! I love the old fashioned names personally - people know how to spell/pronounce them but they aren’t common. Winning combination in my opinion! Thoughts?

I’m not a huge fan. What about Fiona May/Rose nn Fifi?

Yeah I see where you’re coming from, they just make me imagine my Grandma though haha. I’m a fan of quite a few old-fashioned names, I’m just really particular about which ones I like. I can see why you like Flora and Meryl though, they are sorta cute. Are there any other names you are considering?

Not a fan of Fiona and I’m afraid Fifi is a nightmare for me personally (sounds like a small fluffy dog!).

Was also thinking Florence, Mabel, Nora, Olive, Daisy etc.
With Rose or May as a middle name.

I grew up with a very common popular long middle and first name and it was a nightmare for filling out forms and continuously asking which of the 5 Elizabeth’s they meant etc.

I really like Florence (so weird, the person who had the daughter called Meryl Rose was thinking of naming her daughter that too!), Mabel, Nora and Daisy (though Daisy isn’t really ’old-fashioned’ these days). Florence and Mabel are probably my favourites.

Maybe I’ve got a clone somewhere out there! I spose they’re quite similar names. Still like Meryl and Flora though... Mabel is probably next after that.

I love Mabel! my grandmother was called Mabel Blythe and I think it’ll make a cute name for a girl.

Olive is so cute!
Olive May or Olive Mae
(I kind of like the second spelling)
